St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lancaster – St Joseph’s parish comprises the northern side of the River Lune at Lancaster, taking in Ryelands, Skerton, Beaumont, and Halton. We are a small community where you will receive a warm welcome.
A series of talks to help us to enter more deeply into the experience of Lent. The last of these talks is on 21 March. The talks have been focussing upon the three pillars of Lent: Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving. The talks are open to everyone, and are being organised by the Deanery. This week we welcome Simon Stewart who will be speaking about almsgiving and works of mercy.
