Thank you to all our cleaners, sanitizers, polishers….
Throughout this pandemic year, the church has been sanitised every day after every Mass by a team of volunteers who have donned their PPE and their vinyl gloves and armed themselves with anti-bacterial spray, cleaning every touchpoint, handle, rail, bench and kneeler. This is the unsung army who have kept our churches open and safe, and what an amazing team they have been. But behind the scenes, and every week for decades, there has been another group who have swept and cleaned the church and polished the brasses, making our church look well-cared for and welcoming to all those that come to St Joseph’s. In this Year of St Joseph, we would like to thank them for this work which is so much appreciated.
